Art of Having it All

Art of Having it All

The First Hyper Growth Spark
Think back to the exact moment you realized “I can engineer scale, not just chase it”. What happened, and how did that insight re-wire your career trajectory?
We were launching a food delivery platform and needed to onboard 30,000 restaurants in three months, something that could’ve taken years. Instead of pitching each one, I sent a physical letter saying: “We’re honored to have you onboard. If you’d like to opt out, just give us a call”.
No one opted out.
30,000 restaurants onboarded in under a month. That’s when I realized: scale can be engineered.

Counter Intuitive Rule of Scale
What hard won lesson about profitability vs. velocity do most pre-Series A founders still get dead wrong and how did you discover the opposite to be true?
Many founders treat profitability as an afterthought, just raise another big round and figure it out later.
The truth? You can have both: profitability and hyper-growth.
By engineering scalable business models, I’ve pivoted companies to be not only more profitable but easier and more enjoyable to run. The real question is: why isn’t everyone doing this?

Geography as a Growth Lever
You’ve built playbooks across Southeast Asia and the GCC. Describe one cultural or market nuance you’ve used as a secret weapon to break open new territory.
Global expansion is really global localization.
Pick just 2 or 3 markets where unit economics are clearly superior and go deep. When you focus on markets that make sense, everything compounds faster.

Systemic Bottleneck You Love to Break
Walk us through a time you spotted a growth ceiling everyone else accepted as “just how it is", dismantled it and unlocked a change in expansion.
I scaled a proptech company 10X in two years by first scaling down focusing on a few high-performing markets and going deep.
Most teams cling to sunk costs. But if you want exponential results, you need to make bold, uncomfortable decisions. I did—and it changed everything

Legacy in a Line
When tomorrow’s founders toast to the path you paved, what single sentence do you hope they say—and why does that line matter to you personally?
“It’s not easy, but it’s doable.”
